We at CJT understand that the world today is facing rapid and previously unseen challenges. We believe in the importance of East Texas as historically overlooked; ecologically critical; and especially vulnerable to frontline damage from things like pollution, hurricanes, and sea level rise. We also believe in the creative power of youth engagement and education to problem-solve and develop local solutions to our larger climate problems.

We want our organization to have the resilience and sustainability necessary to tackle these big problems in our backyards, and to do that in a way that is fun, new, and engaging!

You will often find us getting into nature, consulting the stars, and communicating with ancestors (not necessary to join us, just something you might want to know about our ~vibe~).

We solve big but we also bring joy! We always (usually) love our neighbors, even if they are kind of crazy sometimes (often).
