Climate Justice Texas
We are an East-Texas based, youth-focused conservation organization creating the space for communities to have conversations about our environment, the challenges we face, and how to preserve our region for generations to come.
We are based in Jefferson County, Texas and are proud to explore and grow the natural beauty in Jefferson, Hardin, Tyler, and Orange counties.
OUR PROGRAMS
Environmental Conversations
Us co-hosting a "star party" with the Astronomical Society of Southeast Texas in Beaumont, TX
We bring our communities directly to nature sites and host intimate conversations with local sustainable businesses ❀
Art as Activism
Pitcher plant flowers at the Geraldine Watson Rare Native Plant Preserve in Warren, TX
We host a yearly "Art Walk" that returns the visual ideology of Earth Day to its original anti-pollution, 1970s environmental activism glory ❀
Environmental Advocacy
Our hike with the Big Thicket Natural Heritage Trust at the Sandyland Sanctuary in Kountze, TX
We partner with our local governing bodies to make our own city-wide environmental proclamations, better understand our public transport systems, and train fellow citizen-advocates ❀
